'Office 2.0' start-ups knock on business doors | CNET News.com
The Office 2.0 conference this week will showcase dozens of start-ups that are building hosted services for tasks typically done with desktop applications such as Microsoft Office.

Rather than try to replicate the features of Office online, many of these companies are focusing on the benefits of the Web 2.0 collaboration their services bring. They're also trying to bypass traditional sales pitches by concentrating on grassroots adoption.
