In Case of Fire, Use Stairway For Exit. Do Not Use Elevator. 

IF THE FIRE IS IN YOUR ROOM: A. Leave the room and close the door. (Take your room key or key card with you.)

B. IN ALL CASES, Pull the fire alarm. (1) If there is a phone available, Dial 911. Give them: Name of Building, Address and Cross Street.

(2) Call the hotel operator by dialing "0"

C. Evacuate the area. (1) Alert others in the area. (2) USE STAIRWAYS, NOT THE ELEVATORS. (3) if there is smoke, stay low.

IF YOU ARE TRAPPED IN YOUR ROOM: A. Wedge cloth material along the bottom of the door to keep out smoke.

B. Retreat-close as many doors as possible between you and the fire. C. Block air conditioning vents if there is smoke coming into the room.

D. If windows are openable, and you must have air, open the window. Break the window only as a last resort, as it will become impossible to close it if necessary due to smoke.

FOR YOUR SECURITY: A. For your privacy and security, please always use the deadbolt to double lock your room from the inside. The safety latch and door

viewer should be used to visually identify anyone outside your door. Please follow these same guidelines for connecting and poolside

Every keeper of a hotel, inn, boardinghouse or lodging house, shall post in a conspicuous place in the office or public room, and in every bedroom of said hotel, boardinghouse, inn, or lodging house, a printed copy of this section, and a statement of rate or range of rates by the day for lodging. b) No charge or sun shall be collected or received for any greater sum than is specified in subdivision (a). For any violation of this subdivision, the offender shall forfeit to the injured party one hundred dollars ($100) or three times the amount of the sum charged in excess of what he is entitled to, whichever is greater. There shall be no forfeiture under this subdivision unless notice be given of the overcharge to such keeper within 30 days after payment of such charges and such keeper shall fail or refuse to make proper adjustment of such overcharge
