YouTube's future (or lack thereof)

In not much over a year, YouTube has become one of the biggest sites on the Internet. Ars takes a quick look at YouTube's business model, legal threats, and long-term prospects for survival. Will Youtube legacy be the Pets.com or Webvan.com of the Web 2.0 era.??

For Youtube to monetize they need to put in ads. No banner ads or ads at the top of the page. Each ad should be in the video, and it should be relevant to the content.

I don't know why they don't do this, they would make sooo much money.
